This dignified service is available for any Veteran, regardless of rank, whose family
would like to
enhance the closure of their loved one.
The carriage can accommodate a casket or an urn.
After a service time has been allocated by the cemetery, families may contact us
themselves, or the mortuary can do this on their behalf, to schedule the carriage
time.
Final Honor requests families arrive 30 minutes prior to the service time
so that caskets
(pallbearers need to be provided) or urns, can be placed inside the
carriage and any photos or
videos can be taken. The cemetery respects every family,
however, a tight schedule must be kept.
When the cemetery representative arrives,
we will proceed to the
committal shelter, the casket/urn will be removed from the
carriage for your service,
and the carriage will leave.
